Ceremony of release souls from purgatory(Chao Du超度). It has huge difference between Normal people and priest.The ceremony usually contains Chanting scriptures about Chaodu,and use sorcery to make the human food edible for ghost,finally the priest and the Jiuku God(God of release Pain救苦天尊) will safe the ghosts to Lunhui(cycling) or go to heaven. But, a ceremony of release souls from purgatory for priest,is more like a Farewell Ceremony. The priests need to prepare Sky Bridge and Holy Carriage to send the priest to the Sky Authorities. Because in Daoism,we believe that the priest who have position and certificates in the heaven,finally will be come one of the immortal officer continue helping people in the world.
